How do I perform standard calculations?

Enter the amount first, choose an operator, then tap equals. This follows the same flow shown in the calculator screen for the most accurate input.

How do I clear all input quickly?

Tap C once to clear the current entry. Use backspace to fix one digit, and long-press keys like 0 when you need fast entry such as 00.

Can I edit a number before calculating?

Yes. Use the back key to remove the last digit, then continue typing. You can lock the current result if you want to avoid accidental edits.

How do I add a tip percentage?

Open TIP, enter the bill amount, and set split people if needed. The app instantly shows 15%, 18%, and 20% tip totals and per-person values.

How do I apply tax to a subtotal?

Use the TAX function from the main keypad, enter subtotal and tax rate, and ClearKey Calc calculates tax amount plus final total.

Can I calculate tip and tax together?

Yes. You can run TAX first and then TIP, or reverse the order based on your local billing rule.

What does Privacy Lock do?

Privacy Lock helps prevent accidental taps or edits when reviewing calculations. It is useful for personal totals and sensitive quick checks.

How do I enable Privacy Lock?

From the calculator screen, tap Lock near the display area. You can also review lock-related options in Settings when available.

What if I forget my lock method?

Use the in-app recovery path first. If recovery is unavailable, contact support for secure reset guidance.
